Welcome to Metro's online Lost & Found system

There are two ways to report a lost item to Metro:

Tips to recover lost items:

  • Be ready to provide a detailed description or a unique characteristic of an item.
  • Jotting down the following information can help:
    - Bus route number (i.e. Line 2/302)
    - Bus or train car number
    - Train line
    - Station name
    - Date, time of day and direction of travel


Use online system to report a lost item.

number two Once you submit information about the lost item online, it will be entered into our database.
number three You will receive a reference number to use for inquiries regarding your lost item.

In Person

You can also report your lost item in person.
